Caleb + Paisley were married September 15, 2018.
There is no doubt that these two people are both stylish and beautiful. But not only that, they are head over heels in love, which makes photographing them the easiest thing in the world. The smiles, the laughs and even the quiet moments, required no staging whatsoever. The love was real, and the happiness was absolutely contagious.
We ate ice-cream, we drank coffee, and we took some seriously awesome pictures in the meantime. These two know the way to my heart.
The day started at Carriage Ridge Resort where Caleb was staying with his boys. He was wearing a custom suit from his friends over at Soren Custom and had handmade ties to complete the look.
Just down the road at Horseshoe Resort Paisley had handwritten cards and gifts ready for all of her girls. Needless to say, there was not a dry eye in the room.
Just a short walk from Paisley’s childhood home was this beautiful lake access. It was covered in greenery, and totally private. The perfect spot.
After an emotional first look, we gathered ourselves together and head to Paisley’s old high school for some portraits with the bridal party. Narrowing down these shots to just a few was a tremendously difficult task (just saying).
Next, and most importantly, Caleb + Paisley shared their vows in front of all of their friends and family.
No doubt about it, each Bride + Groom share a big sigh of relief after the ceremony. The stressful part is over! You can finally relax. And what better way to do so than by stopping for an ice-cream cone? I mean, really, does it get better than that?!
We hung out at the iconic French’s food stand, across from the Port of Orillia before heading over to the awesome Mark IV Brothers for some delicious (and well deserved) coffee.
When we were sufficiently fed and caffeinated we head to the picturesque Heights of Horseshoe where their reception was held. We took some family photos, and still had time to run around with the bridal party.
The Heights of Horseshoe was just the rustic venue these guys were hoping for. With big wooden beams and huge windows overlooking rolling hills, it created the perfect atmosphere. Being a DIY Queen, Paisley completed much of the decor herself. She created the seating chart, table runners, table numbers, and even the centrepieces, with the help of her friends. She is such a talented gal. Check out more of her work! @paisleyprintco
As the sun began to fade, we were able to sneak out of the reception for just a few minutes to capture some seriously precious moments. I could not have been happier with the outcome.
And at the end of a most perfect day was of course, some dancing.
Without a doubt, one of my forever favourites. So thankful to have shared in this wonderful day.
